The Business Development Manager will drive business growth for the catering company by developing new corporate and institutional clients, managing key accounts, and overseeing sales strategies. The role requires strategic planning, market research, and client relationship management to ensure revenue targets are met and sustained.
Business Development & Sales
Identify new business opportunities within the corporate, institutional, and event sectors.
Develop proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and secure catering service agreements.
Maintain and expand existing client relationships to ensure repeat business.
Market Analysis & Strategy
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
Develop strategic initiatives to penetrate new markets.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
Collaborate with operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Address client feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
Reporting & Performance Management
Monitor sales performance and revenue growth.
Prepare regular reports on sales forecasts, client acquisition, and business development activities.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the catering or F&B sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing corporate accounts.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and large-scale catering operations is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM systems.
