The incumbent is responsible for establishing, developing, and driving the business in Singapore. Develop a network of contacts to attract existing SPS global clients and our global Partners to extend our services to the new market. Research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income. The incumbent will work on improving efficiency and increasing country's profit while managing the country's overall operations. He/she also oversees several elements in the business, including hiring staff, and maintaining operating budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating strategies in the SPS market expansion, customer retention and development in Singapore.
  • Lead on replying to RFIs/RFPs/Tender opportunities; create and submit Cost Models and full response proposals.
  • Manage and update SPS Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Formulate local development strategies to achieve company goals according to the overall global strategy.
  • Develop a Go-To-Market strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction in the local market. Build long-term relationships and extend SPS global and regional customers & Partners to Singapore.
  • Conduct research identifying markets and customer needs vs SPS Service portfolio.
  • Arrange business meetings and events with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Take ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations in line with internally agreed parameters.
  • Working closely with internal marketing team to increase awareness and build the company's brand to generate quality leads.
  • Carry out budget planning and forecast cycle.
  • Attendance and participation at industry events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in communication, computer, marketing, business administration, etc.
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role in Singapore.
  • Prior experience on markets such as healthcare, education and government sectors is a plus.
  • Proven sales track record in BPO is a plus.
  • Market knowledge for Singapore and prior experience in acquiring new business
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field
  • 5 years and above experience in Business Development, communication, sales, or marketing.
