Reports directly to the Managing Director.
Role of a Business Development Manager will include developing business strategy of your clientbase and procuring fresh initiatives. Management of your client portfolio and flow for projects. Adhering strictly to all applicable laws, regulations, and business norms.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Gain knowledge through dialogue and practical experience to take an active role in the approach to strategic planning.
2. Effective sales strategy, negotiation skills and presentation skills.
3. Networking and growing clientbase.
4. Organise and manage projects, establishing resource needs, budgets, and schedules.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
1. Conduct negotiations to establish win-win outcomes for the client and the company.
2. Develop business opportunities in target segments, review market needs and opportunities, and develop customer relationships.
3. Develop customer acquisition strategies as well as foster customer relationships to attract new customers.
4. Identify and establish industry stakeholder relationships at all levels of business operations to further the organisation's strategies and objectives.
