We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager with a Degree or Diploma in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Photonics or Optoelectronics. Candidates with an application or R&D background looking to transition into sales will be seriously considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the Photonics and Optoelectronics sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and to inform strategic decisions.
- Work closely with engineering and product development teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of working sales experience in Photonics or Optoelectronics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with technical applications in Photonics or Optoelectronics is advantageous.
