Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Own and drive the full sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → solutioning → negotiation → onboarding
- Identify, engage, and close new merchants and clients across target industries
- Actively build a strong pipeline and deliver new business within the first 6 months
- Structure and negotiate commercial models to increase product adoption and transaction volume
- Promote and position our payment platform as a scalable solution for diverse client needs
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with SME to IPO-stage clients
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Drive deeper platform adoption and usage across existing accounts
Product & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand:API capabilitiesIntegration requirementsProduct roadmap
- Translate customer feedback into product enhancements or new features
- Act as the voice of the market, contributing to future product improvements
Requirements
Must-Have
- Proven experience in hunter sales with a strong track record of acquiring new clients
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated success in penetrating new markets without relying on brand recognition
- Solid experience in the payments or fintech sector, including:Payment methodsPayment processingTransaction flowsElectronic paymentsInvoicing and billing systems
- Strong understanding of cross-border payments and multi-currency solutions
Preferred
- Experience selling into e-commerce, SaaS, gaming, education, or healthcare sectors
- Familiarity with API-based products and technical sales
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
