Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the insurance portfolio targeting clients from or related to the Thai market.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, brokers, and distribution channels serving the Thai community or high-net-worth individuals.
- Work closely with internal teams including underwriting, marketing, and product development to tailor solutions to market needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and improve offerings.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to onboarding and after-sales service.
- Support marketing and branding efforts specific to the Thai-speaking segment, including events, seminars, and content creation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in insurance, ideally in business development, sales, or distribution roles.
- Proven track record of success in developing the Thai/HNW market segment.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, distribution models, and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in Thai and English is required, to liaise with Thai-speaking clients and partners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in HNW life insurance or cross-border insurance solutions.
- Existing network within the Thai-speaking client base or referral partners in Singapore.
- Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
