Responsibilities:
- Explore and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining strong professional relationships with both existing and prospective clients. This includes offering technical guidance on their insurance requirements.
- Evaluate, approve, and underwrite insurance proposals in accordance with the Risk Acceptance Authority and established guidelines. This also involves handling claim-related matters, providing recommendations on policy wordings, and coordinating with overseas business units, and reinsurers.
- To participate at company level committees for ad-hoc projects to improve and expand Company's operations/ business.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in general insurance (minimum CGI & HI).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in business-to-business (B2B) insurance business development, with a strong track record in client acquisition and relationship management.
- Have experience liaising with Japanese clients.
