Manage and grow relationships with existing sponsors and partners for technology-focused industry events, ensuring strong engagement and successful delivery of sponsorship commitments.
Generate new sponsorship revenue by identifying, prospecting, and approaching potential partners across the technology, AI, startup, and digital ecosystem.
Research and identify relevant companies and emerging startups that could benefit from partnership or sponsorship opportunities.
Develop tailored sponsorship proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close partnership agreements.
Oversee sponsorship accounts throughout the event lifecycle, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring alignment between partners and internal teams.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, production, finance, and legal to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and events.
Contribute to partnership and sponsorship strategy, including packaging, positioning, and promotional initiatives for upcoming events.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and developments across AI, technology, fintech, and emerging digital sectors.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorship sales, or commercial roles, preferably within events, media, technology, or startup ecosystems.
Strong ability to build relationships, manage client accounts, and generate new business opportunities.
Demonstrated experience in prospecting and hunting for new clients or sponsors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of initiatives from concept to execution.
Bilingual capability in English and Mandarin is preferred to support communication with Chinese-speaking clients.
Interest or exposure to AI, technology, fintech, or web3 ecosystems is an advantage but not mandatory.
