Role Overview

Main purpose of the role: To lead strategic growth initiatives and expand market presence through proactive business development, strategic partnerships, and prospect/client relationship management.

Top 3 key responsibilities:

  1. Craft and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
  2. Meet prospects/clients, consult with them on their needs, and position CARMA services accordingly (consultative selling).
  3. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and market expansion efforts.

Candidate Requirements

  • Required qualifications / certifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration/communications
  • Years of experience required: 2-3 years of experience in business development/communications (combined)
  • Key technical or functional skills: Excellent command of English, excellent report writing and presentation skills, good understanding of PR & Communications, and their measurement best practices
  • Soft skills / personality traits preferred: Adaptable, creative, communicative, realistically optimistic, persuasive, possesses leadership qualities
  • Languages required: English, Mandarin (bonus)
  • Preferred industry background (if any): PR & communications
  • Working style of the team: Fast-paced, collaborative, independent, proactive
  • Cultural fit or values important for this role: Intellectual curiosity, consultative mindset, integrity, transparency, results-oriented, team player
