POSITION PURPOSE

Business in Asia continues to grow, with further rapid growth potential in high-growth verticals. Data center, EV Battery and Hydrogen business are three verticals for BACs focus today and future.

The Business Development Manager, Data Centers is a key role responsible for driving growth and expansion within the companys targeted industries (Data Centers). This position focuses on identifying business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and increasing market share through effective business development strategies.

Leading this important growth initiative will require you to bring industry-leading expertise and best practices that are biased toward customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help accelerate our growth by building a comprehensive and actionable business plan for new and adjacent markets within the developing market of data centers etc. The desired candidate will be highly skilled at assembling the right team of internal and external resources, effective networking, value selling, maintaining, and developing customer relationships at multiple levels, and will be able to communicate internally and externally at a technical level. The ideal candidate will develop relationships with key leaders in the targeted Industry and will join a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision of Reinventing cooling to sustain the world. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Understand market trends and customer needs, identify opportunities for BAC and develop a new business pipeline.
  • Co-work with global and regional colleagues, search for sales leads and approach key customers to improve their penetration.
  • Build strategic business partnerships and alliances to enhance BACs position in the targeted market (owners, electrolyzes, EPC).
  • Lead team (regional and global) to figure out the best-fit proposal when deep dive the key customer needs.
  • Lead the related marketing campaign (tradeshow, marketing tools, lunch and learn seminar etc.)
  • Develop the teams capability to leverage the full BAC product portfolio and our applications knowledge to influence customer design and specification.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical Engineering combined with 8 years of experience in a similar function within an international manufacturing industry.
  • Understand the entire cooling system. ability to understand Data Centers market and it developments, projects; identify key market stakeholders; penetrate to targeted customer accounts
  • Ability to influence others in the organization with no direct reporting relationship.
  • Strong command of English, Ability to deal with international customers.
  • Have Market analysis and Biz judgement ability.
  • Innovative, resourceful, aggressive, responsive.
  • Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholder groups to take the desired action.
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
  • Expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix and multi-industry organizational environment.

TRAVEL:

  • approximately 50%.
