About the Role:
Our client, a global events platform within theFinTech ecosystem, is hiring for aBusiness Development Manager.This is a high-ownership role suited for a self-starter who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions accordingly
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute event strategies, including attendee acquisition, sponsorship packages and promotional initiatives
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects and initiatives, from ideation through to execution and delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, operations, legal and finance to achieve shared objectives
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies across web3, AI and FinTech
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development and/or saleswithin Investment Banking or Venture Capitals
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- High sense of urgency and resilience, with the ability to perform under pressure
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
