Business Development Intern 2026 Summer
About This Role
We are looking for motivated candidates to join SHOPLINE as a Business Development Intern. You will work closely with our Business Development team to support sales growth by exploring new opportunities. This role will help you gain hands-on experience in sales and business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Help identify new business opportunities to grow SHOPLINE's customer base.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
- Work with the marketing team to support sales strategies and campaigns.
- Participate in researching market trends and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for potential clients.
- Support the team in preparing for negotiations and deal closures, and participate in selected business negotiations to gain exposure.
- Assist in preparing sales reports for the management team.
- Join industry events and conferences to network with potential clients.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at a local university, ideally in the 2nd or 3rd year of studies, with 3rd-year students being the most ideal.
- Willing to take a Leave of Absence (LOA) from school for a 6-month full-time internship starting in 2026 January.
- Outgoing personality with a strong interest in sales and good business sense.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; conversational Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.
- Prior internship experience in e-commerce or SaaS industries is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
