Role Overview
As a Business Development Intern at EPOS, you will gain hands-on experience in driving growth for SMEs. You will learn how to identify opportunities, generate leads, engage with clients, and contribute strategic ideas through a project.
This internship is ideal for students who are enthusiastic, proactive, and enjoy both fieldwork and strategic thinking.
What you'll do
Business Development & Field Exposure
- Identify and reach out to SMEs via cold calling and canvassing
- Execute the full sales journey, from lead generation and client interactions to product presentations, negotiation, and closing.
- Maintain records of leads, calls, and follow-ups
- Conduct research on target markets and competitors
Project & Strategic Problem Solving
- Work on a problem statement - within the topic of business development/sales.
- Analyse field insights and propose actionable recommendations
Learning & Development
- Attend internal training sessions (product, sales, business development)
- Shadow experienced business development or sales professionals
- Receive coaching on client engagement, fieldwork, and project work
