Business Development (BD) Executive

Department: Sales / Business Development
Reports to: Director / Country Manager

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company. The role involves prospecting potential clients, presenting the company's services, negotiating agreements, and maintaining long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and partnership opportunities.

  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, events, and outreach activities.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Understand client needs and propose suitable solutions or services.

  • Serve as the primary contact point for client enquiries and follow-ups.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Present company services and prepare proposals or quotations for clients.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.

  • Provide regular sales pipeline updates and performance reports to management.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve service offerings and market positioning.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development (preferred).

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
