Job Description

The Business Development Executive supports the development of patient referral networks and strengthens partnerships with insurance providers, corporate organizations, general practitioners (GPs), and medical specialists. The role focuses on outreach activities, relationship management, and facilitating awareness of healthcare services to support appropriate referral pathways. The position also works closely with internal teams to support service awareness, stakeholder engagement, and departmental initiatives.

Insurance & Corporate Outreach

  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers, corporate partners, and third-party administrators (TPAs).
  • Support engagement with corporate partners regarding healthcare services and panel participation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on matters relating to insurance panels, corporate healthcare programs, and patient access processes.

GP Engagement & Referral Network

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with general practitioner (GP) clinics to enhance awareness of healthcare services and referral pathways.
  • Provide information on healthcare services and facilitate appropriate referral pathways from GP clinics.
  • Conduct regular outreach visits and engagement activities with GP partners.

Specialist Referral Collaboration

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with medical specialists / medical providers to support cross-referral opportunities.
  • Support the development of referral partnerships within the healthcare network.
  • Assist in initiatives aimed at strengthening specialist engagement and collaboration.

Outreach & Awareness Initiatives

  • Support healthcare outreach activities, educational programs, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing events, seminars, or engagement sessions aimed at increasing awareness of healthcare services.

Administrative & Ad Hoc Support

  • Assist in marketing initiatives, events, and outreach activities when required.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for business development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, updates, and market insights for management as needed.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in healthcare outreach, business development, or healthcare partnerships is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage healthcare stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple outreach activities.
  • Familiarity with healthcare referral networks, GP clinics, or insurance panels is an advantage.
