Role of Position
A Business Development Executive plays a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving company growth. This role is common in industries like construction, where nurturing client relationships and winning contracts are crucial for success.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting
. Identify potential clients through research, networking, and market analysis
. Maintain a pipeline of prospective opportunities using CRM tools - Client Relationship Management
. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
. Acts as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns - Sales and Negotiation
. Present and pitch company products/services to prospective clients
. Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and quotations - Market Research
. Analyze market trends, competitors, and client needs to identify business opportunies
. Provide insights to improve products/services and overall business strategies - Collaboration and Reporting
. Work closely with internal teams, such as Contracts and Projects, to meet client requirements
. Prepare reports on business performance, targets, and client feedback for management
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for education)
Approximate Years of Experience
- 1-3 years in business development, sales, or a similar role (construction industry experience is a plus)
