Business Development Executive (Data & Analytics SI)
Role Summary
Own new logo acquisition and early pipeline growth for our data and AI services and products. You will prospect, qualify, and shape opportunities with mid-market and enterprise accounts, working closely with solution architects and vendor partners to convert business problems into scoped proposals.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage a territory plan across priority verticals (public sector, education, manufacturing, retail, logistics, FSI).
- Hunt for new opportunities: cold outreach, LinkedIn, events, partner referrals, tender portals.
- Qualify needs with consultative discovery, align to use cases like dashboards, data platform modernisation, governance, and AI assistants.
- Co-create solution outlines with presales, estimate efforts, and craft proposals, SoWs, and pricing.
- Drive the sales cycle from first meeting to close: objection handling, commercials, legal coordination.
- Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene and forecasting in CRM, run weekly deal reviews.
- Orchestrate partners (Microsoft, AWS, IBM, Snowflake, BigID, Grafana, Elastic, InfluxData) for co-sell and MDF activities.
- Support marketing with case studies, webinars, events, and campaign follow-ups.
Required Experience
- 1-5 years in B2B tech sales or business development, preferably services or solutions.
- Proven hunting track record and meeting or exceeding pipeline targets.
- Comfortable selling professional services and packaged offerings.
- Strong discovery and qualification skills, business case thinking, and written proposals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
