We are seeking a driven andcustomer-focused Business Development Executive to join a growing educationservices organisation within the creative technology sector. The role focuseson generating student interest, managing leads, and guiding prospective learnersthrough the enrolment journey for industry-relevant diploma and certificateprogrammes in areas such as game design, animation, AR/VR, UI/UX, webdevelopment, and data science.
The ideal candidate is highlymotivated, service-oriented, and passionate about sales and education, with theability to engage both local and international prospective students.
Business Development Executive (Education Sales)
Responsibilities
- Make initial contact with inbound and outbound leads to identify student interest and suitability
- Conduct timely follow-ups with prospective students via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on courses, admission requirements, and programme pathways
- Advise prospective students on enrolment requirements and guide them through the decision-making process
- Maintain and update CRM systems with lead status, interactions, and follow-up actions
- Manage assigned leads and ensure timely response in accordance with internal lead handling policies
- Execute structured follow-up strategies to convert leads into enrolments
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to implement effective student recruitment strategies and achieve sales targets
- Ensure professional customer service standards are consistently maintained throughout the sales cycle
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Sales experience with strong communication skills (service-based industries preferred)
- Familiarity with sales closing techniques and customer conversion strategies
- Driven, resourceful, and highly motivated to achieve targets
- Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and professional personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital tools
- Ability to handle objections and engage in consultative selling
- Fresh graduates with strong passion for sales are welcome to apply
Candidateswith prior exposure to the education or training industry, student recruitment,or advisory roles will have an advantage. Familiarity with digital marketingchannels (e.g. social media, online campaigns, lead generation) and experienceengaging leads from such platforms will be beneficial.
Abilityto communicate in additional languages (e.g. Mandarin) will be an advantage tosupport engagement with a diverse student base.
