Corporate Wellness & Wellbeing Performance Solutions (Hong Kong Expansion)

Position Overview

Tongle is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven, and emotionally intelligent Business Development Director to lead the growth and expansion of our corporate wellness and wellbeing performance solutions in Hong Kong.

This role is responsible for building strategic partnerships, securing corporate and institutional clients, expanding brand presence, and positioning Tongle as a trusted leader in psychological safety, workplace wellbeing, and high-performing human-centric cultures.

The ideal candidate understands that wellbeing and business performance are inseparable and is passionate about helping organisations create healthier, more resilient, and psychologically safe workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales and expansion of Tongle's core solutions including:Corporate Wellness Wednesday (CWW)Wellbeing Performance Program (WPP)Wellbeing Student Care (WSC)
  • Identify and secure new corporate clients, schools, institutions, NGOs, and strategic partners in Hong Kong
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, partnerships, events, and strategic collaborations
  • Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and wellness consultation sessions with decision-makers and HR leaders
  • Develop customised proposals and partnership decks tailored to client needs
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly business development targets

2. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Building

  • Establish partnerships with:HR leadersSchools and universitiesHealthcare and mental wellness professionalsNGOs and social enterprisesGovernment-related initiativesCoworking spaces and innovation hubs
  • Expand Tongle's presence within Hong Kong's corporate wellness ecosystem
  • Identify grant opportunities, sponsorships, and funding support relevant to corporate wellbeing initiatives
  • Represent Tongle at conferences, networking events, wellness panels, and community engagements

3. Hong Kong Market Expansion

  • Lead Tongle's strategic market positioning in Hong Kong
  • Research local workplace trends, employee wellbeing challenges, and organisational pain points
  • Identify opportunities to localise and tailor Tongle's offerings for Hong Kong companies and institutions
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across industries including finance, tech, education, startups, and SMEs
  • Provide market intelligence and recommendations to improve service offerings and expansion strategy

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners
  • Ensure excellent client experience from onboarding to programme delivery
  • Work closely with facilitators, wellness practitioners, and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation
  • Conduct follow-up reviews, impact discussions, and renewal conversations with clients
  • Maintain high client retention and satisfaction levels

5. Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership

  • Position Tongle as a leader in psychological safety and human-centred workplace wellbeing
  • Collaborate on:LinkedIn thought leadership contentCorporate wellness campaignsPublic speaking opportunitiesMedia collaborationsWellness events and activations
  • Support storytelling and education efforts around:Burnout preventionPsychological safetyWorkplace resilienceEmployee engagementHuman sustainability

6. Reporting & Strategy

  • Track business development KPIs, partnerships, and sales performance
  • Prepare monthly progress and pipeline reports
  • Analyse campaign performance and lead conversion effectiveness
  • Contribute to strategic planning and expansion decisions
  • Recommend improvements to sales systems, outreach strategy, and customer journey

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, HR, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in:Business developmentCorporate partnershipsB2B salesCorporate wellnessHR solutionsConsulting or related industries

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Strong network within Hong Kong corporate ecosystem is highly preferred
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of workplace wellbeing, employee engagement, mental wellness, or psychological safety is a strong advantage
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, HR leaders, and decision-makers
  • Experience working in startups, social enterprises, or impact-driven organisations is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for research, lead generation, and sales support is advantageous
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
