Business Development Director
We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Director to lead and grow our Design, Manufacturing & Packaging (DMP) business.
This role focuses on industries such as:
- RF & Microwave
- Satellite Communications (Satcom)
- Defense & Radar
- High Power Electronics
- System Integration Solutions
The ideal candidate should have both technical knowledge and business development experience in electronics, semiconductor, or advanced engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the DMP business across key technology markets.
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Drive new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Manage projects from early concept stage to mass production.
This includes:
- Proof of Concept (POC)
- Prototype development
- New Product Development (NPD)
- New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Mass Production (MP)
- Work closely with customers, engineering teams, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify new market trends, technologies, and growth opportunities.
- Support technical solutioning and system integration for customer projects.
- Lead technical discussions, planning, and project execution activities.
- Build and maintain strong industry networks and partnerships.
- Travel regionally and internationally for customer meetings, supplier management, and business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Semiconductor, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in RF, Satcom, Defense, Radar, Microwave, High Power Devices, or System Integration industries.
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, semiconductor packaging, and advanced engineering products.
- Experience handling projects from development stage to mass production.
- Familiar with New Product Development (NPD) and manufacturing transfer processes.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, industrial, or high-reliability industries is an advantage.
- Strong business development skills and industry connections.
- Good communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with frequent travel for business and customer support.
