Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Director to lead the growth of our Conversational AI solutions in Singapore, serving as a regional hub for Asia Pacific. This individual will focus on acquiring and managing key clients, primarily in Banking & Financial Services, Retail & eCommerce, and Healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will be reporting to Chief of Customer Engagement. The candidate must have the ability to deeply understand clients technology ecosystems and drive the integration of ADA's Conversational AI solutions into their existing tech stacks, ensuring tangible business value.
What will you do
- New Business Acquisition: Identify, engage, and close new strategic clients in the targeted verticals (Banking, Retail, Healthcare).
- Key Account Management: Build strong relationships with key clients to drive account growth, upselling, and long-term partnerships.
- Client Tech Stack Understanding: Analyze clients current technology environments (CRM, Martech, Core Banking, eCommerce platforms, etc.) and advise on integration strategies with Conversational AI.
- Solution Integration: Collaborate with Solutions and Product teams to design and deliver integrated Conversational AI solutions tailored to client needs.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the go-to-market strategy leveraging WhatsApp and Omnichannel capabilities.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed targets.
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with hyperscalers, telcos, and ecosystem partners to strengthen ADA's value proposition.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor movements, and technological advancements to refine sales and integration approaches.
- Regional Expansion: Utilize Singapore's position to drive growth opportunities across Asia Pacific markets.
What skill and experience will you need
- Experience: 8+ years of business development, enterprise sales, or strategic account management experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, Martech, or Customer Engagement sectors.
- Technical Acumen: Strong ability to understand client technology stacks (CRM, ERP, Martech platforms, APIs) and propose integration strategies with Conversational AI solutions.
- Sales Expertise: Proven success in winning and growing major enterprise accounts with complex solution selling.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Banking & Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare industries in Singapore and the broader Asia Pacific region.
- Relationship Management: Skilled in building trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and business stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align sales strategies with broader client business and technology objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications in sales or technology are a plus.
