Job Responsibilities
- Managed compliance reviews and legal/regulatory assessments associated with the launch of a new business,
Oversee general office administration to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of daily operations.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to procure goods and services within designated timelines.
Maintain accurate document management, filing systems, and internal reports to ensure operational transparency.
Collaborate with management to track, monitor, and follow up on operational tasks and project progress.
Support the BONDO Bonsai business by coordinating with Japanese partners and suppliers, primarily through verbal communication.
Plan and support bonsai-related events, including preparation, logistics coordination, and client engagement.
Manage inventory of bonsai-related materials, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Support the execution of bonsai business projects and related activities to meet client and partner expectations.
Assist with coordination and administrative tasks related to small-scale new business initiatives, including documentation, vendor management, and scheduling.
Conduct research and follow-up activities to support new business development efforts.
Manage project timelines to ensure smooth execution of launch activities within established deadlines.
Coordinate with the Cebu office and overseas locations to support cross-border communication and operational follow-up.
Compile basic reports and operational updates to support management decision-making.
Provide flexible and responsive executive support to senior management, adapting to evolving business needs.
Requirements
Fluent spoken communication skills in both Japanese and English to effectively collaborate with partners and internal teams.
Holds a diploma or bachelor's degree.
2-5 years of hands-on experience in administration, coordination, or business support roles, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience working in a Japanese company or Japanese business environment is a plus.
- Experience in compliance-related tasks is a plus.
Strong interest in startups, art, culture, and/or cross-border businesses.
