Business Analyst, PMO (ROP Banking Domain)
Location: Singapore
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with PMO experience to support an ongoing ROP initiative for a banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in Trade Finance, excellent coordination and documentation skills, and experience in banking transformation or system implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Process Design
- Design TO-BE document examination rules using risk-based classification (RBA).
- Define transaction scoring rules: risk factors, thresholds, and weights.
- Align RBA rules with Compliance for validation and finalization.
- Create user materials (checklists, guides) for decision-making.
- Support pilot testing and pre-go-live adjustments.
Business Deliverable Review
- Review BRDs, To-Be documents, UAT scenarios, and training materials.
- Ensure alignment with business needs and operational feasibility.
- Collaborate with internal users and external vendors.
PMO Support
- Track milestones, schedules, and resource roles.
- Standardize templates, processes, and documentation.
- Report progress to senior stakeholders via dashboards and trackers.
Project Coordination
- Drive Requirement Definition, UAT, Training, and Go-live readiness.
- Track execution across business units/branches.
- Prepare progress updates and issue logs for management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Min. 3 years of experience in banking transformation projects or system implementation.
- Exposure to Trade Finance operations (L/Cs, shipping documents, etc.).
- Ability to manage cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
- Strong skills in reviewing BRDs, test cases, training manuals.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of AIOCR systems or automation in trade finance is a plus.
- Experience in AS-IS / TO-BE process design is advantageous.
