Business Analyst, PMO Business Continuity Management (BCM)

Location: Singapore

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with PMO capabilities to support a Business Continuity Management (BCM) system implementation for a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT Service Management (ITSM), strong documentation and data analysis skills, and experience in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Documentation

  • Work closely with stakeholders to assess current-state processes and identify improvement areas.
  • Collect, validate, and document business requirements and workflows.
  • Analyze transaction-level data to fine-tune business logic.
  • Review functional specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives.

PMO Support & Coordination

  • Support project management tasks including workload analysis, schedule tracking, and coordination.
  • Plan and support UAT execution, including test case validation and defect tracking.
  • Develop and maintain project documents such as meeting notes, reports, and improvement proposals.
  • Prepare system migration plans and track implementation progress.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

  • Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
  • Provide regular status updates and insights to internal teams and project stakeholders.
  • Help align project deliverables with MAS BCM guidelines, ensuring compliance and risk control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in ITSM, business requirement gathering, and documentation.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in data analysis.
  • Strong hands-on skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for documentation and reporting.
  • Good understanding of project delivery lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with MAS BCM guidelines is a strong advantage.
  • Understanding of ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services is preferred.
