About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team in Singapore. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of new systems, features, or process changes
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives and comply with regulatory or operational requirements
- Assist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and post-implementation support
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- 25+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Based in Singapore and legally authorized to work in Singapore
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technology, fintech, banking, or consulting industries
- Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, or data architecture
- Experience working with regional or APAC stakeholders
- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA certification
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
