About the Role
- Join the Data Governance & Compliance function to help define and implement data management strategies
- Ensure data is stored, processed, and shared securely through strong governance, privacy, and protection practices
- Drive standards and process improvements related to data governance, citizen consent, and data management
- Partner closely with business teams, government agencies, and external partners to align data strategy with organisational goals
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and impact analysis to shape initiatives; define and track success metrics and continuously improve solutions
- Plan and run programme activities and assessments for Data Security Risk Management and Personal Data Protection
- Work with internal/external stakeholders to structure data sharing arrangements with appropriate data protection safeguards
- Support Data Incident Management and Enterprise Data Risk Management activities
- Review, develop, and drive awareness/adoption of data standards, policies, frameworks, processes, procedures, and guidelines
- Serve as the main liaison for Data Protection and Data Security queries and request submissions with other Government Agencies
- Guide integration of data protection, data privacy, and data security procedures into day-to-day business operations

Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics/Management, Law, Information Management, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
- Experience in one or more areas:
- Data governance / data protection / data security delivery
- Policy, standards, frameworks, process and guideline formulation
- Information/records management (information lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management)
- Risk assessments and/or IT and business audits
- Handling and reporting data incidents
- Programme or project management experience
- Advantage: certifications in data governance, data protection/privacy, cybersecurity, incident management, or analytics-related fields
- Advantage: experience drafting or complying with Singapore Government IM8 policies
- Advantage: experience in data and/or cybersecurity domains
