Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting works.
Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure safety and proper upkeep.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.
Carry out painting and finishing works including surface preparation, patching, priming, and applying paints, varnishes, or polish to walls, furniture, and fixtures.
Repair and maintain the resort's aesthetics by fixing cracks, stains, and other surface damages.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely (brushes, rollers, spray guns, ladders, scaffolding, and power tools).
Maintain documentation of work performed and report recurring issues to the supervisor.
Support minor renovation, installation, and improvement projects.
Ensure adherence to safety standards when handling electrical systems, tools, paints, and chemicals, as well as when working at heights.
Assist the engineering team in energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
Technical certificate or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services preferred.
Prior experience in building maintenance and painting/finishing, ideally within a hotel or resort environment.
Knowledge of building systems, painting techniques, and safe handling of equipment and chemicals.
Team player with good communication skills and service-oriented mindset.
