We are based in Singapore and distribute our titles to leading book retailers locally and throughout the Asia Pacific region. We are looking for an experienced Book Sales Manager to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Local and Regional Bookstore Account Management
Manage and grow key accounts including major book retailers
Regularly visit bookstores to check stocks and solicit orders
Prepare and send new title and key backlist information to key accounts
Work closely with our book marketing and publishing teams
Other books sales related matters
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in book sales, book publishing or book retail
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Asian book retail landscape in Southeast Asia
- Skills:
Excellent communication in English (knowledge of an Asian language a plus)
Proficiency in MS Office ERP experience preferred - Mindset: Results-driven, and comfortable working in a data-based environment
- Travel: Willingness to travel regionally for sales visits several times per year
