We are looking for a detail-oriented BIM Modeler to support the design, coordination, and implementation of electronic security systems across various projects. This role will focus on developing accurate BIM models for ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models for ELV/security systems, including:CCTV surveillance systemsAccess control systemsIntrusion alarm systemsIntercom and related low-voltage systems
- Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built models using BIM software (e.g., Revit)
- Collaborate with project engineers, consultants, and other trades (M&E, architectural, structural) to resolve design clashes
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools
- Ensure all BIM models comply with project standards, BIM execution plans (BEP), and client requirements
- Update models based on site changes and ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material planning from BIM models
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM files
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, BIM, or related discipline
- 1-4 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in ELV / security systems / M&E projects
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (or equivalent BIM tools)
- Familiarity with Singapore BIM standards and coordination processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, structured cabling) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
