Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate Building Information Modelling (BIM) models throughout the project construction period to support digital project delivery
- Adhere to project information requirements and modelling exchange protocols to ensure seamless information sharing among stakeholders
- Follow the drawing management system (DMS) for information collection, filing, workflow, and process compliance
- Perform standard BIM deliverables as per the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) derived from Organization Information Requirement (OIR) and Project Information Requirement (PIR)
- Report daily BIM activities and progress to supervisors
- Develop detailed Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) BIM models for coordination and construction use
- Conduct quality checks on MEP models to verify coordination readiness
- Perform clash detection and document discrepancies for discussion in weekly Interdisciplinary Coordination (ICE) meetings
- Coordinate BIM activities between project modellers and the Project Technical Team to resolve issues
- Update BIM models with solutions provided by project technical teams and consultants
- Produce clash-free coordinated BIM models to facilitate construction
- Generate construction drawings including Concrete Services Drawings and MEP Trade Shop Drawings adhering to committed schedules
- Track and record drawing status to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Moderate software skills in Revit or ArchiCAD, NavisWorks or BimX, BIM 360, and BIMCloud
