BIM Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Strategy & Implementation

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans (BEP) for projects

• Establish BIM standards, protocols, and workflows

• Ensure compliance with client BIM requirements and project specifications

2. Model Management & Coordination

• Manage and maintain federated BIM models

• Coordinate models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines

• Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues

3. Team Leadership & Training

• Lead BIM coordinators and BIM modelers

• Provide technical guidance and BIM training to project teams

• Promote best practices in digital construction

4. Project Support

• Support project teams in model-based planning and construction sequencing

• Assist with 4D/5D BIM integration where applicable

• Ensure accurate model data for quantity take-offs and project planning

5. Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients on BIM deliverables

• Participate in coordination meetings and technical reviews

6. Quality Assurance

• Ensure BIM models meet quality standards and LOD requirements

• Review models before submission to clients or authorities

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline

• Minimum 5-8 years of BIM experience, including project coordination

• Strong knowledge of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD

• Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM models in construction projects

• Good understanding of BIM standards and digital construction workflows
