Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Creation & Development: Build detailed, discipline-specific up to 5D models (architectural, structural, MEP) from 2D/ AutoCAD/ 3D/ Revit designs. The Integration of Combined Service Drawings (MEP, Archi, Structural).
  • Collaboration: Work with Employer, Consultant, Architects, Engineers, Contractors/ Subcontractors to integrate data and refine models
  • Coordination: Identify and resolve clashes or design conflicts within the model from time to time
  • Standards Compliance: Implement and maintain project and industry BIM standards, protocols, and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Familiar with BIM up to Level of Details (LOD 500) as well as Asset Information Model (6D).
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
  • Documentation: Generate construction documents, drawings, shop drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs etc, from the models.
  • Data Management: Ensure models contain necessary data for various project stages (design, construction, maintenance etc) as per project requirement and industry standards.
  • Training & Support: Provide guidance or training on BIM software, workflows and compliances to team members.

Core Duties:

  • Develop parametric families (MEP, Archi, Structural) etc.
  • Annotate documentation with dimensions, tags, and legends.
  • Update models and drawings with the latest design information.
  • Attend and contribute to BIM coordination meetings with all relevant stakeholders (presentation slide/ model navigation etc.)
  • Assist in developing and implementing BIM strategies for projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCad with background in engineering (Mechanical/Civil) or architecture
