Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, review and continuous update of the BEP, and ensure its effective implementation for discipline-specific BIM/VDC/IDD delivery.
- Lead and coordinate discipline-specific BIM matters with project stakeholders, internal teams and interfacing contracts, including modelling standards and information exchange requirements.
- Manage, oversee and support discipline BIM modellers within the Delivery Team to achieve project BIM objectives, quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Plan and execute discipline-specific digital delivery strategies, including adoption of BIM/VDC/IDD best practices, tools, innovations and mitigation measures.
- Oversee discipline-specific BIM quality assurance and control, including deliverables checks, issue verification and rectification to minimise design and construction risks.
- Ensure full compliance of discipline BIM deliverables with PIR, LTAEIR, LOIN and other regulatory or contractual requirements for PIM and AIM.
- Ensure alignment and consistency of geo-coordinates, orientation and information structure within discipline PIM/AIM and federated models, including coordination with interfacing contracts.
- Establish, maintain and update discipline-specific BIM templates, standards and object libraries to support consistent and efficient project delivery.
- Participate in ICE meetings and other coordination forums to resolve interface issues, drive decisions and achieve agreed project outcomes.
- Implement preventive, corrective and mitigation measures to ensure cyber security and protection of discipline-specific data within the Contractor's CDE, in accordance with LTA asset information requirements.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management.
- 4 years of BIM experience as a Project level BIM Coordinator role in a large scale or infrastructure project and has completed one full project cycle at design phase or construction phase is an advantage.
- Conversant in a coordination software such as Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360, Solibri Office, VRCollab, Navigator, etc.
Qualifications:
A Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering with
- Certified with Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling (BIM) or
- BIM Management Certification by BCA Academy or
- Certified with Digital Delivery Specialist (DDM Tier 3) and
- any BIM authoring software's modelling course by the software vendor's authorised training provider.
