BIM Coordinator (M&E)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural and other disciplines
• Perform clash detection using software like Autodesk Construction Cloud or Navisworks
• Ensure the models follow the project BIM Execution Plan
• Resolve clashes between ducts, pipes, cable trays, structure and architecture
• Maintain and update federated BIM models
• Ensure model files are properly uploaded and managed in the Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Monitor model quality and compliance with BIM standard
• Prepare clash reports and coordination drawings
• Lead or support weekly BIM coordination meetings with consultants, contractors and subcontractors
• Track and close coordination issues
• Produce combined services drawings, shop drawings and coordination layouts

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Specialist Diploma in BIM or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant BIM experience as a project-level MEP BIM Coordinator role
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud
