Drafter and Purchaser (Fire Protection)

We are looking for a skilled Purchaser with expertise in Fire Protection to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing tender submissions, managing cost estimation, measuring quantities, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors to assess proposals. This role requires efficient preparation of Bills of Quantities, technical data, and unit rates, while fostering effective communication and collaboration with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Candidate is familliar with Fire Protection System such as Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Dry Riser, Hose Reel and etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions
• Measure quantities and perform cost estimation
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to obtain proposals/quotations and evaluate them
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, technical data, and unit rates in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

Qualifications:

• Degree, Diploma, or NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying related to Fire Protection services
• Proficient in MS Office software
• Autocad
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Highly self-motivated, professional, and displays a high level of integrity
