Responsibilities
Global Revenue Management is part of the ByteDance Finance function that is responsible for revenue management and accounting for monetization of all ByteDance products via the following processes: running the Order to Cash (OTC) cycle, establishing and integrating business-finance platforms together to ensure accuracy in revenue accounting. Responsibilities: - Support monthly billing process by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to customers, including credit note approvals, customer portal uploads, and any other related billing issues. - Review the process of refunds and rebate payouts to ensure financial compliance and accuracy. - Maintain an effective partnership with Sales, Sales Operations and Finance departments, propose corresponding system optimization requirements in response to the changes in business development. - Manage helpdesk tickets for internal queries and optimise self-help documents to improve the scalability of support options. - Review un-invoiced revenue and conduct root-cause analysis to troubleshoot errors and fix inefficiencies. - Support ad-hoc projects, including process and system improvement initiatives & internal audit reviews. - Work closely with the Collections and Credit teams to ensure the OTC cycle operates efficiently and reduces bad debt risk. - Work closely with internal product-managers on improving the internal billing tools available via drafting product requirements documents (PRD's) and being involved with alpha/beta testing before launch. - Manage and develop training materials and one-pagers to ensure billing processes and policies are understood by the internal stakeholders. - Review contracts for revenue accounting impact.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline. - 4+ years of work experience in invoicing and billing setup within Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes. - Good analytical skills, logical thinking ability, and a strong sense of responsibility. - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. - High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with the digital advertising industry or technology industry across the Asia-Pacific region preferred. - Experience working with high-risk clients and advertising agencies. - Demonstrated sound judgment in complex financial situations and the ability to identify financial risks and non-compliance.
