Responsibilities
- Customer Billing Support: Act as the main contact for users with questions about invoices, payments, refunds, and subscription charges, delivering accurate and timely assistance across email, chat, and other service channels.
- Payment Troubleshooting: Investigate discrepancies, failed transactions, and billing errors by working closely with internal systems and external payment providers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Policy Guidance: Explain billing rules, subscription terms, and financial details clearly to users, ensuring transparency and understanding of charges.
- Insights & Improvements: Monitor and analyze user feedback on billing experiences, identifying recurring issues and recommending enhancements to processes and systems.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with finance and engineering teams to resolve complex billing cases and contribute to initiatives that improve revenue operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year in billing support, payment operations, or finance-related customer service. Background in a technology or SaaS environment is advantageous.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professionalism and empathy in handling financial matters.
- Ability to manage high inquiry volumes in a fast-paced setting.
- Integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential financial data.
- Communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to manage sensitive financial discussions in a bilingual environment as the role will cover Chinese speaking regions.
