Job Description:
Amity Global Institute in Singapore is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bilingual Content Writer & Editor to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about writing, editing, and creating content in both English and Chinese. You will play a key role in producing high-quality written materials for marketing, communications, and academic-related initiatives, ensuring consistency of tone and accuracy across both languages.
Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and proofread content in English and Chinese for marketing materials, newsletters, press releases, brochures, and digital platforms.
- Translate and adapt content between English and Chinese while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Ensure all written content aligns with Amity's brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing, admissions, and academic teams to support campaigns, events, and publications.
- Conduct research and develop engaging content for blogs, articles, and student/alumni stories.
- Review and refine content to ensure grammatical accuracy, flow, and readability.
- Assist with bilingual communication needs for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, linguistics, translation, or a related field.
- Strong command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
- Proven experience in bilingual writing, editing, or translation (portfolio of work preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and stylistic consistency.
- Ability to tailor content for different audiences and platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A team player with creativity and a passion for effective communication.
