Job Title: Educational Content Editor (Chinese Language)
Responsibilities:
- Write Chinese language learning content, including children stories, articles and stories for magazines (print and digital), language assessment questions aligned with curriculum standards
- Edit manuscripts (on-screen and hard copy) to ensure consistency in style and tone, accuracy in grammar, and content
- Proofread and copy-edit documents to maintain high editorial standards
- Assist in sourcing suitable teaching and reading materials for publication
- Support subscription-related tasks and school e-learning programs
- Collaborate with the editorial and content teams to meet publication timelines
Requirements:
- Degree in Chinese Language, Education, Communications, or related field
- Familiar with school Singapore Primary School Chinese curriculum and teaching needs
- Detail-oriented with excellent Chinese grammar and language proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and editorial tools
- Able to work independently and within a team
