Summary of the role:
Our client is Global Manufacturing Company and they are looking for a BI and Data Lead that will be responsible for shaping the data strategy for their global SAP implementation. This role is critical in building scalable enterprise data models, driving integration across ERP and analytics platforms, and enabling modern BI solutions. You will be the go-to expert for data architecture, governance, and reporting-partnering with senior stakeholders and vendors to deliver transformation at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and governance of enterprise data flows across SAP and connected systems.
- Own master and reference data modeling, migration planning, and integration design to ensure accurate, high-quality data delivery.
- Build and oversee modern BI/analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SAP BW/4HANA, SAC) while driving data warehousing strategies on Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Server).
- Act as the bridge between business and technology-capturing requirements, shaping cloud-based data solutions, enforcing governance/security standards, and ensuring vendor outcomes meet project goals.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, MIS, Data Science, or related field certifications in Data Architecture/Data Engineering a plus.
- 8+ years in data architecture, BI, or related roles, with proven leadership in SAP ERP transformations.
- Expertise in enterprise data modeling, OLTP/OLAP, migration mapping, and integration across supply chain/manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of BI/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP BW/4HANA, SAC) and Azure data components (Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL).
- Experience delivering end-to-end cloud data platforms with agile, DevOps, CI/CD practices.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, vendor collaboration, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Preferred: Azure certifications, SAFe, SQL/Python, SAP data experience.
