Your new role

You will join the business as a Business Development Manager, taking ownership of strategic partnerships that drive new opportunities and industry engagement. This role is less focused on direct selling and more centred on building ecosystems, managing key stakeholders and delivering joint programmes with external partners.

Your responsibilities will include working with government organisations, chambers of commerce and industry associations to identify, develop and execute collaborative initiatives and events. You will also support tender and bid activities for strategic local customers, contributing to the review, preparation and improvement of tender processes. Internally, you will work closely with multiple functions to ensure solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned with customer objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in business development, partnerships, industry development or stakeholder management roles
  • Demonstrated exposure to working with government bodies, trade organisations or chambers of commerce
  • Practical experience supporting tenders or bids, including coordinating inputs across teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence across senior levels
  • A collaborative, commercially minded approach rather than a purely target‑driven sales background
  • A relevant degree and solid understanding of the Singapore business landscape
