The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverage, operating coffee equipment, and maintaining a clean and efficient beverage station while delivering excellent customer service in a restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- prepare coffee, espresso, tea and other beverages according to recipes and standards
- operate coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safety and efficiently
- maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning of drinks
- take beverage orders from customers and/or service staff accurately
- serve drinks promptly in dine-in or takeaway settings
- maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and work area
- restock ingredients such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and cups
- monitor inventory and report low stock items
- Follow food hygiene and safety standards all the time
- provide friendly customer service and handle basic customer requests or feedback
