Job Summary
This Junior CDP role supports kitchen operations by preparing daily mise en place, executing new menus to meet quality standards, maintaining food hygiene, ensuring food quality and presentation, and assisting senior chefs to deliver excellent guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing daily operations and mise en place for assigned kitchen stations to ensure smooth service
- Execute new menu items accurately to meet established quality and presentation standards
- Follow strict food hygiene and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Monitor and ensure the quality and presentation of food served within your section
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support senior chefs and maintain kitchen efficiency
- Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods to maintain service flow
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues promptly
- Adapt to flexible work schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic cooking and food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Minimum basic knowledge and experience in kitchen operations
