Barista

• Prepare a variety of espresso-based beverages, teas, as well as other hot and iced drinks as required.
• Maintain drinkware and beverage equipment in good condition.
• Ensure consistency in product taste and quality.
• Monitor the quality of coffee beans and other supplies.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to process beverage orders.
• Deliver good customer service, anticipating and responding to customer needs.
• Contribute to seasonal product research and development (R&D).
• Identify, suggest, and execute opportunities for continuous improvement within the work area.
• Assist in events as and when required.
• Adhere to food and beverage hygiene standards at all times.
• Duties assigned as deemed appropriate for a Barista.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 - 2 years of Baritsa experience.
• Previous experience in a caf is highly preferred.
• Passion for coffee and interest in learning more about coffee preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on shift schedules, 5.5 work week (alternate Saturdays). Off every Sunday & PH
