Barista Job Scope
.Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team in both the kitchen and front of house. Focus on teamwork to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
.Customer Service: Serve customers efficiently, politely, and quickly, creating an engaging experience. Take time to understand and respond to customers needs, delivering outstanding and memorable service.
.Food and Beverage Preparation: Create delicious food and beverages according to company standards in a safe and efficient manner. Bake products for the till counter and hot Langer, ensuring they meet company quality.
.Quality Control: Ensure every drink and food item meets the highest standards of quality. Monitor espresso temperature, milk texture, and hot food core temperatures. Address issues affecting flavor or quality, such as equipment maintenance and ingredient freshness.
.Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen, ensuring food safety in accordance with company standards. Complete all tasks in the cleaning schedule and follow opening and closing checklists.
.Inventory Management: Manage inventory and order necessary supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and other essentials. Ensure stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
.Other Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager to support the overall success of the outlet.
