Barista

Key Responsibilities

1. Consistently focus on crafting high-quality coffee for every cup, and deliver sincere, warm and friendly service to delight customers.
2. Assist in mentoring trainee baristas to accelerate their learning progress in coffee operational skills and product knowledge.
3. Strictly follow operational standards to fulfil shift duties and business targets, including but not limited to store opening & closing, coffee and beverage preparation, customer service, product and membership promotion, cashiering and other related services.
4. Proactively maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all store areas, including front of house, back of house, bar counter and storage room.
5. Assist the Store Manager with other daily store operational matters.

Requirements

1. Basic conversational English, able to take orders, introduce products, respond to general customer enquiries and handle simple customer complaints able to understand daily conversations of local customers.
2. Fluent Mandarin is preferred for communication with Chinese customers and team members. Basic Malay is a plus.
3. Passionate about coffee and hospitality industry able to operate coffee machines independently and perform latte art.
4. Polite and well-mannered with neat grooming.
5. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills, strong team player.
6. At least 1 year of working experience in coffee, tea or F&B industry.
