Job Description

  • Create detailed lists of rebar specifications-including type, size, length, shape, and bending dimensions-from structural drawings.
  • Calculate exact rebar quantities and weights required for procurement and fabrication.
  • Update and produce rebar shop drawings, often using
  • AutoCAD
  • or BIM software.
  • Monitor reinforcement material on-site, manage delivery schedules, and generate reports on total rebar used versus wastage to control costs.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to resolve design discrepancies and ensure rebar fits perfectly into designated slots.
  • Conduct site checks to verify that installed rebar matches the approved BBS and safety standards.
