Backend Engineer (Java & LLM Applications)

As a Backend Engineer, you will work closely with our Lead AI Architect to build and scale the core infrastructure of our enterprise SaaS ecosystem. You will be engineering the brain and data pipelines of our platforms. Your work will involve developing Agentic AI workflows, optimizing high-concurrency big data pipelines for real-time analytics, and ensuring absolute data integrity across our distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• AI & Agentic Engineering: Collaborate on the design and deployment of advanced conversational AI features using LangChain, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and multi-agent frameworks.

• Big Data Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Optimize complex data pipelines to handle large-scale, real-time analytics.

• System Integration: Seamlessly connect our core AI engines with enterprise databases and third-party APIs to trigger automated, event-driven workflows.

• Guardrail & Security Implementation: Implement strict data governance and anti-hallucination engineering guardrails to ensure all AI outputs are 100% accurate, secure, and based strictly on verified proprietary data.

• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company as required.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of professional backend software development experience, with a strong focus on data-heavy or AI-integrated enterprise applications.

• Backend Core: Deep proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot / Spring Cloud ecosystem.

• Database Mastery: Expert knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL). Crucially, you must have familiarity with Big Data/OLAP technologies (e.g., Clickhouse, Spark, Elasticsearch, or Hadoop) for high-speed analytics.

• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin is required to effectively collaborate with Chinese-speaking technical stakeholders and enterprise clients.

• Soft Skills: Strong logical thinking, architectural vision, and a problem-solving mindset to simplify complex business flows into highly scalable backend structures.

The Alpha Edge (Preferred & Bonus Qualifications)

• LLM / AI Experience: Hands-on experience deploying Large Language Models (OpenAI, Ollama, etc.), optimizing prompts, and building RAG vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, FAISS).

• Python Skills: Familiarity with Python for AI scripting and data manipulation.

• Message Middleware: Experience with message middleware (Kafka, RocketMQ) for handling high-concurrency event streams and system alerts.

• Frontend Awareness: While this is a purely backend-focused role, a basic understanding of modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js/React) is a strong plus to ensure smooth API integration with our dedicated UI team.
