AWS Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and driven Technical Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of AWS cloud architecture and basic knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) and Windows Servers. Knowledge of Oracle DB, NGinx and linux systems is a plus. This role is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and cloud architects or devops engineers with couple of years of experience in development of cloud solutions and server management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide ongoing support for deployed applications, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring optimal performance.

* Assist in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Contribute to the administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems and applications.

* Participate in application deployment processes, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments.

* Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.

* Document architectural designs, processes, and system configurations for future reference.

* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud architecture and system design.

* Provide occasional after-hours support for critical incidents and system maintenance as needed.

* Support the configuration and management of IIS for hosting web applications.

* Work with the database team to understand and optimize Oracle Database configurations and performance.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

* Entry level - 3 years experience

* Good understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture principles.

* AWS certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Devops Engineer).

* Ability to understand basic SQL queries.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

* Basic knowledge of shell scripting, programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Javascript).

* Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.

* Exposure to architectural frameworks is a plus.

* Knowledge of management of CrushFTP is a plus.

* Knowledge of IIS and web server management is a plus

* Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces is a plus

* Knowledge of Oracle Database concepts is a plus
