About The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team, working directly with our valued client, In this L2/L3 role, you will be responsible for the advanced management, maintenance, and optimization of the client&aposs AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance.
- Infrastructure Management: Perform advanced administration and maintenance of a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and Lambda.
- Incident & Problem Resolution: Act as a lead for L2/L3 technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents related to the AWS environment. Conduct thorough root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
- Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate deployment and management tasks.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust cloud security best practices. Manage IAM policies, security groups, and network access control lists (ACLs) to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Configure and manage monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and potential issues. Work to optimize cloud resource usage to control costs.

Skills And Experience Required
- Proven experience as an L2/L3 engineer, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Expert-level Linux system administration skills.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with scripting for automation using Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts in a cloud environment (VPNs, routing, subnets).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
